Nisab is the minimum wealth threshold for Zakat: equivalent to 87.48g of gold or 612.36g of silver. If your total zakatable wealth is above Nisab after one lunar year, you must pay Zakat.
What percentage is Zakat?
Zakat on monetary wealth (gold, silver, cash, savings) is 2.5% of the total zakatable amount. Agricultural Zakat (Ushr) has different rates.
