An Ayah a Day — Read One Quran Verse Daily

Reading one ayah a day is one of the most sustainable ways to stay connected to the Holy Quran. Rather than trying to finish long portions and losing consistency, a single verse each morning gives you something short enough to read, memorise and act upon before the day begins. Muslim Guide publishes a new ayah of the day every 24 hours with the Uthmani Arabic script, the Saheeh International English translation and the Jalandhry Urdu translation, free and without an account.

Every daily verse links straight to its full surah, so when an ayah speaks to you, you can read it in context — the verses before and after it, the reason it was revealed, and the theme of the chapter as a whole. You can also listen to the recitation, bookmark the verse, and save a personal reflection on what it meant to you that day.

How to Get the Most From the Daily Ayah

Read the Arabic first, even slowly. Reciting the original words carries reward in itself, regardless of how fluent you are.
Then read the translation twice. Once to understand the words, once to ask what Allah is asking of you in them.
Open the full surah. A verse read in context nearly always means more than a verse read alone.
Act on one thing. Pick a single concrete action the verse suggests and do it that day.
Share it. Passing on a verse that benefited you is a form of ongoing charity.
