Compiled by Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj (204–261 AH), a student of al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim is the second of the two most authentic hadith collections. It is especially valued for the care taken in arranging narrations by topic and for preserving the exact variations in wording between different chains.
